Restaurants & Bars
There are five restaurants and six bars on Meeru. Two main ‘sister’ restaurants on Meeru are conveniently located at each end of the island to best serve the guests. The Farivalhu is for guests staying in the south of Meeru while the Malaan is for those staying in the north. Each restaurant features ‘all you can eat’ buffet style meals serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu is varied and changed daily and include salads, pastas, meat and fish dishes, as well as a good sweet and fresh fruit selection. Vegetarians and people with special dietary needs can also be catered for.

There are also optional a la carte restaurants to choose from. The Hungaanu Coffee Shop is situated next to the swimming pool and is open from 9.30am til 11pm and offers a wide choice of snacks, including pizzas, pasta dishes and fresh fruits. To the far south of the resort there is the excellent over-water Asian Wok Restaurant, specializing in superb Asian cuisine and Teppanyaki and it also has a wonderful Sushi Bar.

Meeru also has a fabulous floating restaurant The Hagern, a 24m yacht anchored in the lagoon at the end of a jetty. Built in 1919, The Hagern was the first safari boat to sail around the Maldives . It now serves a wonderful menu of grilled specialties and is a wonderful place to wine and dine. The Hagern also has a wonderful bar, the Club 1919 Bar, serving a range of champagnes and fine wines from around the world, beers, spirits and fantastic cocktails.

By the swimming pool there is the large Dhoni Bar with an outside wooden deck area overlooking the sea and facing the sunset. A little further along the beach is the Kakuni Sports Bar, with table tennis, billiards, table football, and color satellite TV coverage of international sporting events. On the beach to the north of the island there is the Pavillion Bar and the Farivalhu, Malaan and Asian Wok restaurants each too have their own bar.
