Introduction to Angaga Island Resort & Spa
This is a classic “no news-no shoes” Maldivian Island; small, densely vegetated with coconut trees and with stunning beaches. Located in central South Ari Atoll, Angaga has access to both east and west dive sites and has a fantastic and easily accessible house reef just 8m from the shore. Angaga represents excellent value for money, offering a good standard of accommodation, superb facilities and is the beautiful, unspoiled tropical paradise that so many people look for.

Accommodation
Superior Rooms: There are 50 air-conditioned detached-thatched Superior Rooms. All rooms have a mini fridge and satellite television, hair dryer and telephone. Each room has a Maldivian style private open air bathroom and outside there is a small covered verandah with a local-style swing-seat and chairs.

Water Villas: There are 20 water villas located in the shallow turquoise lagoon on the western side of the island. These rooms have the same facilities as the beach rooms with the addition of tea and coffee making facilities. The good-sized bathroom has a bathtub as well as a shower.

Restaurants & Bars
There is one main restaurant serving all meals as a buffet and a small coffee shop serving snacks throughout the day (08:30am – 10:00pm) The bar and restaurant are located right on the beach with stunning views out over the ocean.

Excursions & Entertainment
Angaga has excellent facilities and there is a range of activities on offer, including Volleyball, floodlit Tennis and Badminton courts, and Table Tennis. There is a well equipped watersports centre offering windsurfing, catamaran sailing and water skiing. Excursions include Full or Half Day Island Hopping trips by Dhoni, Snorkelling trips and Evening Fishing.
In the centre of the island is the excellent Coconut Spa offering a range of Balinese massages and beauty treatments. The spa has two single treatment rooms and one couple room complete with an exterior bathtub for soothing aromatherapy floral baths. The spa also sells a range of beauty products.
Diving
The Dive center is owned and operated by Sub Aqua Reisen who are extremely experienced in the Maldives, owning a number of dive bases. Sub Aqua offer a full range of PADI courses from introductory dives through to Divemaster. Angaga is centrally placed in Ari Atoll and has access to some superb dive sites and comes highly recommended.

Travel Information
If you are travelling through or from the UK we can arrange flights on either award winning Emirates Airlines or Sri Lankan Airlines at very competitive fares. Emirates have a flexible schedule of departures on most days of the week from London, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow via Dubai. Sri Lankan airlines offer direct flights from Heathrow on certain days of the week and flights via Colombo at other times. If you would like to arrange your own flights, we can quote you a rate for your island accommodation that excludes flights.
With such flexibility in air travel you can choose to stay on your selected island for any number of days you would like. For the ultimate Maldives experience we highly recommend you combine your stay on an island with a fantastic week onboard one of our liveaboards, the Sea Queen or Sea Spirit.
