The MV Sea Queen is 26 metres in length and offers comfortable liveaboard accommodation for 12 guests in six cabins, all with private bathrooms and air conditioning. Dive sites are reached by an accompanying 14 metre dive boat which carries dive kit, tanks and the compressor,
Sea Queen is managed by two highly professional Cruise Directors who are fully qualified Dive Instructors and have many years of liveaboard experience. They plan and guide the diving programme to ensure that divers visit the very best dive sites. A full dive briefing is given before each dive and this, together with the fact that a small group of 12 divers is far less intrusive to the marine environment than larger groups, means that guests have a better opportunity to see and appreciate the wealth of undersea species and have a good chance of encounters with some of the more elusive and migratory inhabitants of the region.
As in all our destinations, the safety, comfort and enjoyment of our guests is our priority and our Cruise Directors and their excellent Maldivian crew ensure that your holiday will meet your expectations and we hope, exceed them.

The MV Sea Queen accommodates 12 passengers in six air-conditioned cabins, all with private bathrooms.
On the main deck, a large saloon with four separate seating and table areas is a comfortable space where you can relax. The saloon has a 38" LCD flat screen TV with multi-system home theatre surround sound and for underwater video and photography enthusiasts there are plenty of recharging points and edit playback facilities. We have an extensive DVD library including a good selection of marine documentaries. There is also a good selection of marine identification books and a swap library for some light reading !
The MV Sea Queen is fully licensed to sell beer, wine and spirits and all are available through the on-board bar which is in the saloon. Soft drinks, tea and coffee are available at all times during the day and offered with our compliments. Sea Queen has an open foredeck table where, in good weather, we are able to enjoy lunch and dinner outside with wonderful views of the archipelago. It is a very sociable experience enjoyed by all.
Our boats are well-known for the excellent quality of food served on board. There is a good variety of both local and European dishes. If guests are vegetarian or have special dietary needs, we will, of course, do our best to cater for them. Breakfast and lunch are normally served buffet style and dinner is generally served seated around the large table on the foredeck.
From the aft deck, steps lead up to the large, partially shaded sun deck above the main saloon where there are comfortable adjustable sun loungers and bed mats. This is a great place to enjoy a sundowner and discuss the day’s diving.
On the aft deck there is a large swim platform with ladder giving easy access to the water. There are fresh water showers and camera wash tanks.

To dive safely and to reach the best dive points in and around the narrow channels and shallow reefs, you need a special type of boat adapted to these local conditions. Our Dive Support vessel, "Luna" is 14m (45ft) long and comfortably seats 12 divers each with their own storage bin.
Equipment is assembled and remains in place on the dive boat making this really easy comfortable diving. Cylinders are filled by the two onboard K14 compressors and nitrox is available on request.
The sides of the vessel are low and only a simple step-in entry is needed for diving. At the end of the dive, it's easy to pull yourself up the stable stainless steel ladder back onboard the dive support boat. Crew are attentive at all times helping with equipment and precious camera gear.
