Meet the Maldives Scuba Tours team.
Our Office Manager, Carol joined the company in 1998 and is a PADI Advanced Diver. She heads up our admin team and manages us all in the office. Yoga, cookery and travel are her favourite pastimes and on a really good day she'll bring in scrumptious cappuccino cup cakes - she says she's the cup cake queen of Suffolk - and she is!

Susan looks after all the company accounts. She joined the company in 2002 and now has us all in order with our expense accounts. Susan loves hiking, dancing and horse riding. She is not yet a scuba diver but we are working on it ! Perhaps you can persuade her !

Claire looks after all the Maldives reservations and is hoping that her department is moving to the Maldives shortly. Claire learned to dive when she joined the company in 2000 and she is now an enthusiastic PADI Advanced Diver. Claire loves partying, shopping and just having a good time !

Kim is an experienced scuba diver and Divemaster and has visited many of the world's great diving destinations. She is very experienced in travel and administration and comes from a family of true adventurers, Kim and her family sailed around the world in their own yacht.

Holly has worked in the travel industry for many years and has great industry knowledge, she is well travelled and luckily for us she is also a keen and enthusiastic scuba diver. Holly is a mean go-kart racer and recently won our staff go-karting championship !

Graham is our Sales and Marketing man who has a wonderful way with the clients ! He has dived extensively around the world and can offer first hand information about a great number of dive destinations. Graham is a PADI Instructor and has lived in the Seychelles for a few years. He has an interest in underwater Video and produced an excellent video on whalesharks in the Seychelles, which was screened on a number of TV channels.

Leonie also has a good travel industry background and has travelled extensively throughout the world visiting Australia, New Zealand,the Carribean and the Indian Ocean. During her travels she had some scuba diving experience and since joining MST her passion for the underwater has been fuelled.

David and Lisa manage the MV Sea Queen. They spent a number of years operating a Jersey Dive Centre in the summer and a Sri Lankan Dive Centre in the winter. Both are PADI Instructors with considerable dive experience and qualifications.Lisa is a Martial arts and Fitness Instructor and has completed the Three Peaks 24 hour challenge. David is also a fitness Instructor and he plays a mean guitar.

David and Tracy manage the MV Sea Spirit. They have spent many years teaching and diving in the UK where David managed a dive centre. Prior to the Maldives they have been running Liveaboards in the North and South Red Sea. Both are PADI Instructors with a wealth of experience (David is also a BSAC Instructor).Tracy spent many years in the Finance Industry before leaping into the deep blue full time.

Matt and Anne Marie managed the MV Sea Queen from 2001 to 2005 and they continue to work for us as cruise directors on our worldwide trips. Both are extremely well qualified PADI Instructors with a broad experience of liveaboards around the world. Anne-Marie, who is a qualified Pharmacist (and practices whilst in the UK) is a very keen Freediver and has been four times British Ladies Champion. Anne-Marie is now undertaking a PhD in Maldives Manta Ecology at Newcastle University.

Rainer is our hard working Operations Manager, he lives in Male and is married to a Maldivian. Rainer gave up his stressful life in Germany over 25 years ago, seduced by the beauty of the Maldives, to live on a remote island in the North of the island chain. Rainer Supports the Boat crews and makes sure the operation of the boats runs smoothly.

Sam Harwood and Rob Bryning are founders and Directors of Maldives Scuba Tours. When they set up the company in 1989, Rob and Sam lived in the Maldives running their first liveaboard the MV Keema. Since then they have become experts on diving in the Maldives and are authors and contributors to a number of books and guides. With their return to the UK, Rob and Sam have expanded the business launching Scuba Tours Worldwide which represents some of the world's best liveaboards. Rob and Sam have extensive knowledge of a number of destinations with their favourites being Cocos Island in Costa Rica, Papua New Guinea, Galapagos and Indonesia.
